I want this.

So, today I get to go to Rite Aid and talk to the waffly manager who can't decide whether he wants to hire me or not, even though he at first seemed really enthused and went to the trouble of contacting an HR manager after I failed the stupid phone survey. :/ I don't even care if I get hired at this point, I just want to know. Also I woke up three hours earlier than I needed to, and I can't go back to sleep so I'm going to be sleep-deprived as well as nicotine-deprived if he puts me to work today. Joy. I kind of wish even one of the people I'd applied to had contacted me--Goodwill said I could interview the day after I sent my app in and then never called me. If waffle manager turns me down I'll walk down there ans ask if they're still hiring.

Just so this post isn't full of zombies and negativity,

My new default, replacing the Maggie one. I used to have an Asia Argento default icon that I loved but it showed, like, half a nipple, and I didn't want to risk it with LJ's restrictions. Luckily I found this pic of Asia which is both sacrilegious and sexy, and also has her smoking a cigarette. (Confession: I misspelled "sacrilegious" and "sacrilicious". Freudian slip about how hot the pic is, or too much Simpsons? You decide.)

Charlotte Sometimes! She's so preeetty. I wish there were more pics of her to choose from, but I do love this one quite a lot. I was complaining a while back about how I don't have enough chick icons, so I decided to remedy the situation with one of my favorite new female singer/songwriters. Dudes are still in the majority, but that's mostly because I'm lazy and also because it physically pains me to delete a Patrick icon.

Proud parents of Pear Liberal Studies! Replacing my OMG Het! Pete/Ashlee icon, since they tend to be more accepted now and also omg, those two dorks are parents. This icon perhaps best displays my lack of icon-making prowess, but oh well. I'll probably attempt a better version at some point, but for now: those two dorks are parents. Think about it.

Nikki from Times Square, no sense makes sense. I already ranted about my love for this movie, so I won't inflict it on you again.

This is actually an old icon. The Dreamers, because I realized that I didn't have a threesome icon. Or an incest icon. Two birds with one stone! :D

The garden decoration is awesome.

The icons are pretty!

He really does! Except when he looks like a caveman.

Which is half the time.

This puts Murder By Numbers into a whole new light.

:D One of the icons I just deleted was a Murder By Numbers icon! I also wrote a 15-page term paper on movies based on Leopold and Loeb, pretty much entirely so I could write a section on MBN. I love that crap-ass movie so much.

Its kinda wretched but I love it so much.

I got an A on the paper, even though it was 5 pages longer than it was supposed to be! On re-read it's not that great, but I really enjoyed writing it. It was interesting looking at MBN analytically and comparing it to other Leopold and Loeb movies because it comes after the early 90s' Swoon, which was an explicitly gay movie, but it's gender politics pretty much mirror that of Rope from the 1950s, from the depiction of the close relationship between the two boys as the cause of their societally disruptive behavior (distracting them from societally appropriate relationships with girls, as well as leading them to murder), to the detective character who is inspired by them to be more gender appropriate. It's kind of sad that we're still in the same place in regards to that sort of queer murderer plotline, even after something as innovative as Rope.

It's seriously wretched--the Sandra Bullock parts are nigh impossible to sit through and it totally pussies out irt the Justin/Richard relationship, but Ryan Gosling and Mike Pitt totally save it for me. Also any movie that rocks the ambiguously gay teenaged murderers dynamic is pretty much a win for me no matter how wretched it is.

Good on the grade.

This is why I like slash better. If your gay serial killers are in love, they didn't nesscicarily cause the other.

Totally. There's a bed in that abandoned cabin and no one can tell me otherwise. Plus the anglamation Justin makes.

Yo!!

It is Shaunnakinns. I figured this would be the best way to contact you since my phone is a POS.

We are having a BBQ on the 26th and want you to come! I would say try to call or text, but like stated above, my phone is a POS and sometimes doesn't deliver my messages.

XoXo

Mine tooooo! I'll be honest, a lot of my attraction to Tom Conrad has to do with him looking a lot like Michael Pitt.

I need five of those zombie lawn gnomes by Halloween.

(Once, Spencer's had a remote controlled zombie. Or half a zombie, anyway, just the top half. It did move, but in a rather pathetic way, with it's arms still folded up. If I'm paying for a remote control zombie, I want ankle grabbing action.

It's no fun if your trick or treaters don't pee on the lawn!

I told my dad that MBN would be a great movie if we edited Sandra Bullock out completely. He did not disagree.

LOL, at first I read that as "Once, Spencer had a remote controlled zombie," and I was like, "OMG, is she writing me a zombie-themed Panic ficlet?" :D Also I agree that remote-controlled zombies need ankle grabbing action. Or at least mouths that open and close with groaning noises.

As you can see, my house is "that house" every Halloween (unless I'm not living here at the time or I'm lazy or whatnot). It's decorated, with scary figures on the porch swing and me in my fairy princess costume giving out giant scoops of candy.

And I *never* decorate for Christmas. My neighbors might be a bit spooked. Also, some of the Halloween stuff stays up in my house all year.

A zombie-themed Panic ficlet! I'll have to think about that. Although I really don't want any of them to die, so how they get a zombie I'm not sure.

How much do I love that you are talking about Pete & Ash as being parents already? I would go on for paragraphs but that is boring. This is less of a rant and more of an opinion, but. Whatever!

Icons! Here, have Brendon's crotch.

Feel free to go on for paragraphs! I would welcome it!

Mmm, Brendon's crotch. You know who needs to be in front of that crotch? Ian. And then Brendon can pull his hair.
